GERMAN HIGH COURT SETS FRANK ZAPPA FREE

You should have heard it by now, but just in case that you didn't, here's the recap:

In 2009, the Zappa Family Trust filed a complaint against the Arf Society and Zappanale for the use of the term "Zappa".

The German High Court rejected this complaint, stating that the trademark "Zappa" had been filed by the ZFT in Europe, but that it had lost its protection because it hadn't been used within five years after registration.
Zappanale will continue to be Zappanale.
